Abstract: As PHP adoption grows in the enterprise, the combination of Oracle and PHP is used increasingly
to deliver next generation, business-critical applications. In his keynote presentation, Christopher Jones will
explore this next generation of PHP applications and the changes in requirements, technology, and attitudes
behind this shift. Jones will also outline the characteristics of future business requirements and their impact
on project design and implementation.
Biography: As a 15-year Oracle veteran, Christopher has worked for Oracle in both the US and Australia,
working closely with the PHP community. He is the author of several technical articles on using PHP and Oracle,
and he is currently co-preparing an Underground PHP Oracle Manual. As a frequent conference presenter, Christopher
has delivered technical sessions at the International PHP Conferences in both Frankfurt and Amsterdam, as well
as the Open Source Developer's Conference 2005. He has also presents the popular Oracle-PHP Tutorials and
